The Portrait Scanner is the latest evolution of TriForm 3D scanning technology from Wicks and Wilson. It is designed to quickly and easily capture a 3D image of the human face ready for engraving into a crystal block.

      The capture process is both quick and simple; the customer sits in front of the scanner and positions themselves using the integral LCD screen. The operator starts the scanning sequence and patterns of white light are rapidly projected onto the subject. Next, the TriForm software processes the data to create an accurate 3D model of the face.

      Automated clean-up and 3D editing tools are included to create the perfect image before the data is converted into a file ready for engraving.
